Archaeologist, PhD candidate in Egyptology at Paris-Sorbonne University, his thesis focuses upon the Workshop Installations inside Religious Complexes in Egypt and Sudan. He is a member of several excavation teams since 2009 in Egypt (Tell el-Herr, Sinaï ; Karnak, Centre Franco-Égyptien d’Études des Temples de Karnak) and Sudan (Banganarti-Selib, Ez-Zuma, Dangeil, Doukki Gel). After a short SFDAS grant in January-February 2012, he is now a permanent member of the Berber-Abidiya Archaeological Project (NCAM & British Museum). For the year 2014-2015, he was selected for a long-term grant in the SFDAS/French Unit in Khartoum. His project includes the archaeological missions of Dangeil (NCAM/British Museum), Doukki Gel (Fondation Kerma/NCAM/CNRS/ MAE/Université Paris-Sorbonne) and Muweis (Louvre Museum). He is also currently working on the material coming from the Tabo site in the Sudan National Museum.
