Elsa Jadot

Archeologist, ceramic specialist. PhD in archaeology of the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She is an associate researcher at the CNRS (UMR 8096). Specialized in ancient Mexican cultures, her research focuses on ceramic technology in order to link the ceramic production process with the socio-cultural transformations.
In collaboration with Romain David (SFDAS), she has participated to the study of the ceramic of Mouweis (Musée du Louvre), with an emphasis on the technical evolution of local ceramic production. She is currently cooperating with the SFDAS and the NCAM to document the Meroitic collections of the Sudan National Museum in Khartoum.
