Kerma and Meroe. Five lectures on Sudanese archaeology (2005) was a best seller in Khartoum. It was edited as a collaboration between the French Section of the Direction of Antiquities of Sudan (SFDAS) and the French Cultural Centre Frédéric Cailliaud in Khartoum and sponsored by the Cooperation and Cultural Service of the French Embassy.
The SFDAS is pleased to announce his appointment in 2015 Foundation Michela Schiff - Giorgini Prize. The funds will be dedicated to the final publication of the Neolithic site of El- Ghaba directed by Dr. Usai and S. Salvatori at the editions of SFDAS / Africa Magna ( Journal of African Archaeology).
These eleven reports present the surveys and excavations carried out by the SFDAS between 1975 and 2000.

Archéologie du Nil Moyen presented contributions on the archaeological findings of the Main Nile south of the first cataract and the surrounding regions. It was neither a newsletter printing brief reports nor a scholarly journal for articles of wide interest but a compromise between both types of publication.

C’est dans ces trois pays entre Corne de l’Afrique et Croissant fertile, en effet, qu’il a travaillé à écrire plusieurs chapitres de l’histoire des derniers siècles du paganisme.
