SFDAS

The library of the French Unit in Khartoum is growing so as to be in Khartoum, beside the library of the National Sudan Museum, a tool more and more reliable for all scholars dealing with Sudan archaeology, living in Khartoum or coming from abroad. The fields of research are mainly the Prehistory of Nile Valley, Egyptology, Nubian Cultures (Kerma, Napatan and Meroitic) and Christian archaeology.
The library is open every day from Sunday to Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm.
The catalogue is here given online. This will help all the colleagues preparing their digging campaign or their research mission in Soudan to know what books they can find in the French Unit during their stay in Khartoum.
